Inspiration

This narrated short film is inspired by Nico Rauchenwald and the monotony brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

Intentions

I wanted this film to be a reminder to everyone who feels lost and hopeless that they have a passion and fire inside of them. By putting your trust into the universe we can see that we are granted the time and space to realize what we can do.

Working alongside a friend who shot and edited the piece, I was able to have creative input into the stylization and mood of the final product. I tried to keep the objects and spaces familiar for a sense of relatability amongst a wide group of audiences.

Outcome

The person I portray in the film also experiences growth as she moves through the emotions and blocks that any individual is bound to face. Her frustrations are let out into constructive habits and she forms a newer sense of identity, or rather confronts the one that was inside of her all along.
